As a transmasculine person, I feel like binder hygiene is not discussed enough within transmasc spaces. I was unprepared for how often I should wash my binder. I was unprepared for how nasty my binder gets, even after a single use. I was unprepared for the amount of chest acne I would experience after binding regularly. All these things I was unprepared for, despite spending hours researching proper ways to bind while keeping my body safe.

Binder hygiene should, and NEEDS to be discussed more than what it is.
